火曜日のランチタイムセミナーに来てくださった皆様、ありがとうございました!　久しぶりでしたね!

今回のトピックスはアメリカの植民地時代の英雄の一人、ベンジャミン・フランクリン氏でした! フランクリンは貧乏な家族に生まれたため2年しか学校に行けなかったのに、自習で頭が非常によくなりました。植民地の時から晩年まで、政治でも、科学者としても、論理化としても、いろいろな面でアメリカに大きく貢献した方です。もともとボストン出身にもかかわらず、ペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィア市に来てそこをベースにしたので、特にペンシルベニア人に今も高く尊敬されています。

次回のセミナーは3月22日になりました。 そのテーマ私の趣味のプロ野球ですので、私がいつも以上に盛り上がるでしょう。ｗ お楽しみに!!

Hi everyone! It’s Hannah!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to my seminar on Tuesday. I can’t believe how long it’s been since my last talk!

This month’s topic was one of the big heroes of the American colonies, Benjamin Franklin. Despite being raised by a poor family that could only send him to school for two years, Franklin was able to become a brilliant mind of the time through self-education. From the colonial days until his passing, he contributed greatly to the new country through politics, science and ethics. Although he was originally from Boston, he is especially beloved in my home state because he lived in and made Philadelphia his base for most of his career.

My next seminar will be on March 22! The theme is my hobby, pro baseball, so I will probably be more excited than usually. lol See you then!
