7月13日　ー　白石町　Shiroishi Town ー　Hi-den Gion / Yasaka Shrine Summer Festival

Originating in the Edo period when Katsushige Nabeshima, lord of Saga domain, allowed the people to make yama-hasa to thank them for their hard work, you can still enjoy the lively parade of heroic floats today.

7月13日　ー　鹿島市　Kashima City ー　Okinoshima Mairi

A shinto ritual is held to pray for safety at sea and a large harvest. Small boats with lanterns aim for Okinoshima Island in the Ariake Sea, which you can see along with traditional Furyu dance.

7月15日　ー　唐津市　Karatsu City ー　Kyushu Hanabi Festival

Mark the summer in Karatsu city with beautiful fireworks – the best view is watching them be shot off behind the silhouette of Karatsu Castle!

7月15日　ー 白石町　Shiroishi Town ー　Nuinoike Pond Candle Night

Held every year in conjunction with the festival of the same name, around 1500 candles made by local children light up the pond to create a beautiful summer scene. You can enjoy a peaceful evening watching the candlelight shimmer along the water. (※ will be postponed in the event of rain)

7月25~28日　ー　唐津市　Karatsu City ー　Nanayama International Shower Climbing

Taking their time and visiting several checkpoints along the way, participants walk, climb and swim through the stream at the bottom of Kan’non no Taki Falls.

7月26日　ー 吉野ヶ里公園　Yoshinogari Town ー　Fureai Summer Festival

You can enjoy various experience corners, stage events, and a performance by Akakuma Taiko – a traditional performing art of this town. In the evening Bon Odori dance will be held around a yagura (portable shrine). There will also be a variety of festival stalls to enjoy.

7月15日　ー 神崎市　Kanzaki City ー　Nagasaki Kaido Kanzaki Shukuba

Once a prestigious main inn during the Edo period, this area once again becomes a bustling center of the East Hizen region at night – a summer festival with many things to eat and see, including a stage show during the festival hours of 17:00~22:00.

7月15日　ー 太良町　Tara Town ー　34th Tara Town Summer Festival Fireworks Display

From Tara, you can watch the beautiful fireworks reflect off of the Ariake Sea, making for a scenic and peaceful summer evening! (※ in the event of rain, they will be postponed until the following day)
