This festival recreates the time when Imari was a bustling Edo period port – through the carrying of miniature shrines and dance.
8月8日〜9日 ー 鹿島市 Kashima City ー The 62nd Kashima Odori Dance
A dance festival where all citizens participate, which originated in 1962 with the hope of revitalizing the local community and recovering after flood damage.
8月13日 ー 大町 Omachi Town ー Furusato Omachi Summer Festival
Held during the Bon Festival at the Omachi-cho grounds, many people return home to Omachi at this time. At the end of the festival, 1100 fireworks will be shot off from Botayama Wanpaku Park to light up the night sky.
8月20日〜9月30日 ー 伊万里市 Imari City ー Japanese Pear/Grape Picking

8月23日 ー 神崎市 Kanzaki City ー Sefuri Wanpaki Festival
At Takatoriyama Park on Mount Sefuri, a cool breeze blows at night even in the height of summer. The firework display at the end of the festival will echo around the surrounding mountains with a unique sound!
8月23日 ー 伊万里市 Imari City ー Nabeshima-han Kiln Akari Summer Festival
The Night Pottery Market will be held on the 23rd of August. The Okawachi mountain at night has a different atmosphere than during the day, and during this cooler time you can peruse the wares of twenty nine different pottery vendors.
