Kashima has the largest number of traditional arts that are still practiced in Saga. All are performed in the beautiful Yutoku Inari Shine, one of the country’s three Inari Shrines and a place of great cultural importance.

9月　ー　小木　Ogi　ー　Eriyama Higanbana Festival

Held around the Eriyama terraced rice fields, the flaming red spider lillies decorate the paths between the paddies. You can enjoy shopping and other events while you admire the view!

9月　20 日〜11月30 ー　鹿嶋　Kashima　ー　Fox`s Wedding Night Walk

Held at the Yutoki Inari shrine in Kashima, the tower gates and garden are lit up with projection mapping inside the main hall. Wearing a fox mask, you can enjoy the atmosphere as a wedding guest at this autumn ritual that aims to “eliminate bad relationships and attract good ones”. 8 ~ 9PM, last reception at 8:40. ＊once, on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, around 18:30 the fox wedding procession will parade from the front gates. Admission is 1500円 for adults.

7月4日　〜　９月７ ー　佐賀　Saga　ー　Saga Castle Honamaru History Museum

The 10th anniversary of the World Heritage Site of the Meiji Japan Industrial Revolution: Steelmaking, Steelmaking, Shipbuilding, and Coal Industries. In commemoration of this, they look back on the coal industry in the Hizen region, which was the largest coal production area in Japan during the end of the Edo period and the Meiji Restoration.

7月18日　〜　11月3 ー　武雄　Takeo　ー　Mifuneyama Rakuen teamLab Exhibition

Mifuneyama Rakuen is a large garden built on a site spanning half a million square meters, surrounded by nature that lasts for three million years. This exhibition, which can only be seen from summer to autumn every year, is a vast exhibition in which nature turns into art as it is. 1600円 for adults. Closed Mondays and Thursdays, except holidays.
