Question
How are eyeglasses and eye exams covered under the national insurance/JET accident insurance?
Answer
The cost of eyeglasses is typically not covered by insurance. Getting your prescription checked at a store will usually be free.
If you go for a consultation with an eye doctor, national health insurance will cover 70% of the cost. JET accident insurance will kick in if it was in case of an injury or illness.
