新しい有田町民「セラミー」を心から歓迎しましょう！

Last month a press conference was held in Arita to introduce the new mascot Cerami; it already had its first appearance back in 1996 as a mascot for the World Ceramics Exhibition that took place in Arita at that time. So after 17 years it is back on stage to promote the “400 years of Arita Porcelain”-anniversary that is going to be celebrated as huge event in 2016.

先月に「セラミー」という有田町の新しいマスコット・キャラクターを紹介するために発表会が行われました。セラミーが初めて登場したのは、すでに1996年の「有田炎の博覧会」のマスコット・キャラとしてでした。それから、17年後また現れて、今回は2016年に大きなイベントによってお祝いする予定がある「有田磁器誕生・有田焼創業400年」をＰＲするためです。

Some of Arita`s preschool kids were invited too and enjoyed their time with Cerami and Aritan.

保育園の子供たちも来て、セラミーとありたんと一緒に楽しい時間をすごしました。
