3月セミナーレポート
こんにちは、ハナです！ 今年度最後のセミナーはオランダについてでした。 佐賀県は古くからオランダとつながっていて、翻訳や通訳の仕事上でオランダと関わったことが多いが、今回は高校生の学校交流の引率のため、オランダに初めて行かせていただきました。（生徒たちの感想を聞きたい方はぜひ、4月2日14：00に国際プラザにお越しください！！） 佐賀藩やVOCの歴史に興味を持っておりますし、大変興味深い出張となりました。 訪問先で見たものをいろいろと紹介しましたが、こちらで紹介できなかったトリビアを一個教えます： 最近はスーパーで紫色や白い人参をたまに見かけますが、大昔はその色しかなかったとご存知ですか? オランダの王室のイメージカラーはオレンジで、王様のために、現在一般となってきたオレンジ色の人参が開発され、その後世界中に広まったと言われていいます。 This month’s seminar was about the Netherlands.
