今回のランチタイムセミナーのテーマはアメリカの独立記念日でした。独立宣言は1776年7月2日にサインされたと思われているにもかかわらず、7月4日が上に書いてあるため、July 4thはその記念日になりました。 1777年に空に銃を撃ってその日を祝ったのですが、そういう祝い方がだんだん拡大して、今は全国で豪華な花火ショーが毎年行われています。ピクニックをしながら花火を見るのが最高の独立記念日の過ごし方です♪ 次のセミナーは8月11日です。お楽しみに! 鶴屋の丸ぼうろ Marubouro at Tsuruya
先日は佐賀を代表する丸ぼうろのベーカリー鶴屋を見学させてもらいました。鶴屋は1639年に創業、二代目のオーナーは出島に行ってもともとポルトガルからのお菓子、丸ぼうろのレシピをオランダ人に習ったと言われています。 370年後の今でも、丸ぼうろは昔ながらの作り方で作られています。材料はシンプル（小麦粉、卵、砂糖や蜂蜜）で、優しい甘さがします。見た目はクッキーですが、食感はふわふわでケーキに似ています。焼き立ての丸ぼうろをいただいてみたのですが、最高においしかったですよ♪ The other day I visited a bakery of one of Saga’s most famous sweets: marubouro.
