The plum are already in bloom, and next you can look forward to cherry blossoms toward the end of March! There are tons of places to see cherry blossoms, too many to list them all here. Ask around, or just got exploring once they’ve started blooming. You’re sure to find a good spot to enjoy these short-live flowers. 🙂

Circle Time — Special Story-telling Event!

Details: Participants will act out picture books for kids in an experimental event organized in partnership with the Saga International Plaza. Regular Circle Time activities will also be performed.
When: March 10, prep at 13:30

Arita Hinamatsuri Tour

Details: An English-language tour led by Arita CIR Vincent. The tour includes a visit to Kyushu Ceramic Museum, seasonal lunch, potters wheel experience, and sightseeing in downtown Arita. Contact Vincent to register. Also let him know of any dietary restrictions when registering.
